Mike had been asked to read a paper of his for a series at Plymouth University. He read a modified version of his thesis, and it went wonderfully. He HATES public speaking, but if he wants to go on with a PhD in history, he has to read papers at these kinds of events.
Either way, there were about 20 people there to listen to his paper, he was given lots of great research ideas, AND this flyer. :)

Nice work Mike!
Congrats, Mike! It sounds like you're stepping outside your comfort zone just like Mark has done. That which does not kill us only makes us stronger, right?? ;)
We are so proud of you. You have so much to share and it is wonderful that you have done so. Just remember that old asying about the audience sitting in their underwear. Oh yikes, that would just make me nauseous and I would not be able to speak at all. Cancel that last bit of advice. I can't tell you how much difficultly I am having try to type this message...I am blaming the drugs and not my age. Enjoy yourselves and wearing out Jim...Mary is just too easy to get tired and she will whine about it for years afterward!! I know I have misspelled words...but can't remember how do to spellcheck when I am typing a message. Love to all of you. Aunt Sue
